Our dedicated access service gives you a 24x7 permanent connection to the Internet. T1 is a permanent circuit between you and us, and is 100% digital. With this permanent connection, you can use your Internet link as often as you want. There are no limits on the number of PC's or workstations you can connect to your Internet link.

We provide two options for T1 service:

Managed

We provide, manage, maintain, repair and replace the router if necessary. Your interface to our service is a simple Ethernet port. The router we provide supports firewalling with static NAT, VPNs and remote access to keep your network secure.

Barebones

This is the option for you if you alreaady have a T1 router and do not want to change it out.

If you require them, all T-1 services include up to a /29 block of IP addresses (6 usable) at no additional charge.

If you aren't in the Denver metro area, you should consider Qwest Frame-Relay to access the foreThought.net network. Frame-Relay can help you save substantially on your Internet link if you aren't in the Denver Metro area - in fact, with Frame Relay, your local loop cost will be approximately $350/mo whether you are in Fort Collins, Aspen, Castle Rock, or even Grand Junction.

If you already have a Frame Relay T1 from another ISP, you can switch to our service without requiring a time-consuming new circuit installation. In fact, you can typically be set up in a matter of days, without any downtime.

If you currently have a Point to Point T1 from another ISP, you will need to place an order for a new one, and then disconnect the old one. Contact one of our Account Managers for details.

We can provide direct Internet Backbone connectivity to large companies and other ISP's at any of several POPs we have a presence in. The "Port" cost is a charge to connect your network to ours without a local loop component. We offer service over Ethernet, 25M ATM and OC-3 ATM, and DS3. Additionally, we can provide BGP Peering service to help multi-home your network.

NOTE: Bandwidth is extra. The Port charge is a charge for connection to and use of the physical network port, burstable to the full capacity of the circuit.
