Acceptable Use Policy of Shell Access

forethought.net/Dimensional (the "Company") may provide Shell access upon request to customers.

Shell access is defined as the ability to log in to a UNIX shell (such as bash or tcsh) and execute programs on that UNIX host.

Shell access is permitted only to the host "shell.dimensional.com" ("Authorized Host"). Shell access to any other host is prohibited.

In order to gain Shell access, Customer must fill out an application form. Shell access is granted only upon a review of the application form by the Company's network administrators and management and may be denied with or without reason.

Shell access may be revoked for Unauthorized Use of the Authorized Host. Such Unauthorized Use includes but is not limited to: attempting to log in to any host other than the Authorized Host, attempting to access files belonging to any other user, attempting to circumvent the security of the Authorized Host or any other host, using software on the Authorized Host in violation of any other Company Acceptable Use Policy, using software on the Authorized Host in violation of any other Internet network's Acceptable Use Policy, and allowing anyone other than Customer to use the Shell. The Company reserves the right to make reasonable determinations as to what is Unauthorized Use.

Access to the Authorized Host may be restricted to certain IP addresses, or may be blocked from certain IP addresses, in the sole consideration of Company for any reason.
